Daily Devotional church in Bangalore

Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Welcome once again friends. We're talking about God's blessing and Him causing us to increase. Today, we will look at a couple of other scriptures that tell us that God Himself desires an increase in our lives. I'll read from Genesis chapter 1, verse 28, ‘Then God blessed them, and God said to them, “be fruitful and multiply; fill the earth and subdue it; Have Dominion over the fish of the sea, over the birds of the air, and over every living thing that moves on the earth.’ God intended for mankind whom He had created to increase in everything. Of course, in this blessing, we see that God wanted them to have offspring and fill the earth. However, as we see the blessing of God upon the lives of many other people later on, the life of Abraham, the life of Jacob, we repeatedly see God blessing them for an increase. This tells us that God intends to bless us. God intends to bring growth, multiplication and increase in our lives. So, it's not that we are striving for increase and God is withholding it from us. Not at all! If we walk in His ways, like Psalms chapter 1 says, we will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, where we will be very fruitful and blessed in all things. Let me also take our attention to Deuteronomy chapter 28 and verse 11, ‘and the Lord will grant you plenty of goods, in the fruit of your body, in the increase of your livestock, and in the produce of your ground, in the land of which the Lord swore to your fathers to give you.’ Once again, every area of people's lives, His children, God intends to bless it. We read about increase in their possessions, we read about blessing in their bodies and the fact that God wanted to grant them offspring. We see that God wanted to increase the work of their hands. We also see that He wanted to give them a growth in whatever they had engaged in and we could also consider the work that we do for God here. So, God intends our increase. He also spoke to David, reiterating the fact that He wanted to do much more for David than David could think of. So, this is the God we serve, a God who wants to bless us in every area of our lives. Now, just a word of caution here, we're not talking about being greedy because we know that that would be ungodly, as Paul writes to Timothy in 1 Timothy chapter six and verse six, but increase for God and increase as a blessing from God. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you that you intend our blessing and our increase O God and Father this day we pray that we will experience that in every area of our lives. God let the hindrances to growth and development, let that be removed from our lives, we want to experience your blessing, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
