Daily Devotions for Spirit Filled Living

God's Word is spiritual food and nourishment. The Bible uses many metaphors: bread, milk, meat, food, water, honey, seed, rain, light, lamp, gold, sword, etc. for itself. God's Word is the basis for our faith. It is God's power at work in our lives. As you receive God's Word expect to receive wisdom and guidance. Expect to be healed, delivered, transformed. Expect God's supernatural power to work miracles in your life. His Word never return void or unfulfilled.

Each daily devotion is about five minutes in duration. We have intentionally developed the daily devotions around a weekly theme. So there are seven days of daily devotions that focus on the theme and bring you insight, understanding and revelation from the Bible. Each week's theme is listed as a series. So you can listen to the current week's daily devotions or go to any previous theme/series that speaks to your present need.

You can watch the video or download and listen to the audio. Almost all daily devotions end with a prayer. You can access these from this page as well as from the Home page of this website.

All our daily devotions are also available on our free church App for you to listen on your mobile device. Download our free church App from App or Google Play stores. Search for "All Peoples Church Bangalore".

Welcome once again friends, we continue in our exciting study of God being the God of increase. Today, I would like to read for us from the book of John, John chapter six and verse 11, ‘and Jesus took the loaves, and when He had given thanks he distributed them to the disciples, and the disciples to those sitting down; and likewise of the fish, as much as they wanted.’ This is a miracle that the Lord Jesus performed. After providing spiritual food for the people who followed Him, Jesus provided physical food as well. How did this much of food come about? Jesus performed a miracle through the lunch box of a little boy. He was carrying five loaves and two fish and with that the Lord Jesus supplied to about 5000 men is what is recorded and of course we know that there must have been families together with these men. So, from five loaves and two fish, He performed a miracle. Only God can do that. God can take the bare necessities and multiply it. But we must come to Him and on that day, somehow there was this little boy who came up to Jesus, who was brought to the Lord Jesus and his food was given to the Lord to work with. Today, you and I, we might be looking at our resources and thinking ‘God this is all I have’, but when we give it into the hands of this mighty God, He can multiply our resources and that day God multiplied the food to feed His people. Today, we are here to glorify the name of God and extend His kingdom. How much more will God do that for us? A miraculous increase and God is able to bring that about in our lives. We do not expect a miraculous increase every time because you know God has called us to follow the natural laws, but at times when there is a need and we seek the Lord, He is also able to go beyond the natural laws. On that day, Jesus broke bread, it says, He gave thanks and broke bread; a man of prayer, Jesus, a man of prayer, He gave thanks. So, there is power in the life of prayer. There is power also in thanksgiving. Jesus took the little, He gave thanks unto the Lord, He broke it and then the miracle happened. The little multiplied into plenty and church today, I'm here to encourage us. Let's not be disheartened or discouraged, whatever we have, as we are seeking for an increase from the God of increase, let's prayerfully and with thanksgiving, submit our requests because we serve a God who can cause an unusual, miraculous multiplication of our resources and through this He can bless us, as well as the people around us. Let's pray together, Heavenly Father, we thank you, that little in your hands becomes plenty. You are the God of our increase, you are the God of our miraculous supply and God, you have done this time and again for your people. We pray, today, those of us seeking you in any form of need that we will experience your miracle of multiplication and God only you can do it and we believe it. Thank you, Lord, thank you for doing it in our lives, we bless and honor you, in Jesus’ name we pray, Amen.
